Why having a website shouldn’t be “just because” { 3 }
As more and more people go online, more and more businesses realize it’s something they can no longer ignore. But to get online “just because” isn’t the answer, you really need a defining goal of why you want a website and what you wish to achieve with it.
For Gonink to design a website for you we like to know some (or all) of your reasons for getting a website. Some of these might be:
- We want to increase sales by x-amount (percent or dollars)
- I want to sell my products online
- We want people to be able to download free articles such as tips, tricks and/or our newsletter
- Our company is well known to our regular customers, but we’re a bit off the beaten path and want to inform more local people of where we are
- We offer more than just (insert product/service here) and we need customers to know that we also (insert more products/services here) at affordable prices
There is a host of other reasons why you may want a website, but as you can see it needs to be more than “just because”.
I would also add entertainment to the list of possible site goals, because fun sells:

Hmm, commenting seems to be broken.
Chris,
Thanks for the comment. Sorry for the belated response. We had some PHP issues that were a real bugger to figure out.
