Gonink has moved!

On November 21st 2005 Gonink Design opened it’s doors part time offering a mish-mash of services from graphic design to laminating lifetime gun permits.

Then in June of 2006 we opened our doors full-time still offering some of the same variety of services including web design, photo restoration and logo design.

As time goes on things change and Gonink has seen a variety of those – the most recent being a move from an office building to home.

Due to circumstances beyond my control Gonink no longer resides on the south side of Churubusco. I’ve moved the entire office home to my 1-bedroom apartment on North Main Street until I can figure out a new solution for the business.

No worries though, I’m still operating like I was with a minor hiccup in our printing capabilities that I hope to have resolved real soon.

Below is a photo of the current setup in my living room that quite frankly doesn’t look that different from my previous office. I’ve also pointed out a few interesting tid bits in the photo.

1.) That’s actually a newspaper clipping of a house fire in Fort Wayne where I made the front page. How cool is that!?

2.) There are actually two things noted here, but one you can barely see because it’s a clear trophy. That being a 2007 Summit Creative Award for Gonink’s logo. The plaque sitting there is my 2007 Churubusco Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award.

3.) Number 3 is my assistant fire chief helmet from 1997. Believe it or not that was bright white when I entered a training burn. Unfortunately I became real familiar with the word “burn” that day because I received 1st, 2nd & 3rd degree burns from my ears down to my neck. Ouch!

4.) Finally we have a 3 foot solid concrete firefighter statue. You have no idea how painful that bugger can be when it rolls onto your bare feet!

I appreciate everyone’s business through the years and I assure you Gonink is doing everything it can to function as well as it did before and you can still easily reach me at chris-at-gonink.com or 260.312.0126

    Chris,
Good to hear from you. Hope all goes well with you at your new location. I don’t update very often but with the user friendly site and note book you made for me, updates are much easier than what I had before you redesigned my site for me. Thank you for all of your time, consideration and help.
    Regards,
    The Rusts
